Sunday Schools exist essentially to teach children about the Christian faith, to help them learn about God’s word and how to apply it to their daily lives.
Christ Church has a lively Sunday school with many children involved and contributing, Sunday by Sunday, to the Church community. The children frequently report to the congregation about their activities for that Sunday. The school takes place every Sunday, from 10 am to 10.45 am at Wash Lane Schoolroom.
Christ Church Sunday school children often take part in activities around the Diocese of Chester, such as the Pilgrim Day at Chester Cathedral and the Blestival festival which takes place every May.
Christ Church has adopted the Church of England’s safeguarding policies.
Contact details for the Chester Diocesan Vulnerability and Safeguarding Officer can be found on the Diocese of Chester website.
